Project «Voting for Women’s Government»

The campaign "Voting for Women’s Government of Serbia", organized by OSCE Mission, European Movement in Serbia and the daily newspaper The Blic, helped to promote women and their representation in political, social and economic life. The organizers aimed at improving citizens’ awareness regarding under-representation of women in positions of leadership, as well as showing that Serbia has many capable women who are a able to perform such tasks. In the course of the campaign, the citizens took part in virtual elections, voted for the proposed candidates and elected 19 women ministers for various ministerial positions, as well as the Woman Prime Minister and her Deputy.
